"I am no Samaritan - I'm just human. If anybody thinks I can resurrect somebody's career or character, they're wrong, it's just not possible for me to do," Shilpa told Reveal magazine. She said, "If I need to speak to Jade, I don't need to do it as a publicity stunt - I'll do it in private, between ourselves." Shilpa was at the centre of controversy on the reality show, when viewers complained that she was being bullied by fellow housemates Jade Goody, Jo O'Meara and Danielle Lloyd. Shilpa said she was surprised when Goody apologised to her for her behaviour towards her on the show. "I didn't expect it. It was very unlike Jade to apologise. Maybe 'CBB' (‘Celebrity Big Brother’) had asked her about it and it dawned on her." Shilpa said she had not spoken to any of the other women from the house since leaving the show. She also denied reports that she had snubbed a wrap party, saying that she wasn't invited. "I knew nothing about the party. I did not snub it. I didn't get an invite. Perhaps they didn't know how to contact me."

Meghna Naidu doesn't feel shy taking off her clothes

The sizzling and voluptuous Meghna Naidu claims that she doesn’t feel shy taking off her clothes in front of 20 or 30 unit members.Talking to a leading entertainment portal about her forthcoming film Bad Friend , Meghna says, “There are a number of bold scenes in BF. I have already made it clear that have no problems giving such shots. I am a complete professional. I don't feel shy taking off my clothes in front of 20 or 30 unit members."

But while Meghna was comfortable shooting for the steamy scenes, her co-star in the film debutant Aditya Om was literally sweating while shooting for the scenes. The actor-director says he found it tough to keep up with Meghna while shooting bedroom scenes for ‘Bad Friend’."She doesn't feel shy at all. I think this is going to be the first film in which not two, but three people will be seen together in bed. There's Meghna, me and another actor. Although I had lots of problems giving bold shots, Meghna was confident every step of the way. Many times I found myself sweating, but she helped me cool down," he says.‘Bad Friend’ is the story of a lawyer who wants to eliminate his wife but loses his memory in an accident. The wife comes to his aid during this difficult time and when he eventually recovers, he finds out about this plot to eliminate her. He then tries to save his wife."Despite raving about Meghna's sizzling performance, Aditya admits she was not his original choice for the film. "We first approached Mallika Sherawat who had date problems. We then tried Neha Dhupia . She too was busy. Finally we offered the role of the lawyer's wife to Meghna," he says.Meghna did shed her clothes without any inhibitions in her last flick Rain but it failed to click at the box-office. Hope her hot act this time will set the box-office on fire.

Tanushree Dutta dances with real scorpion

An interesting incident happened when Tanushree Dutta was shooting for Vishram Sawant’s movie Risk .Although Tanushree doesn’t have a big role in the action-packed film, she does play an important character that provides moral support to the hero Randeep Hooda . Tanushree has also shot an item song called “Hichki” in the film.
It was during the shoot of this song that Tanushree reportedly encountered a scorpion. When she was ready for the shot and sitting on the dance floor waiting for the director to be ready, she saw a scorpion that someone had placed near her foot. She was required to shoot a portion of the song with the scorpion. Convinced that it was a fake scorpion, Tanushree fiddled with the creature with her foot. After a few minutes, much to her shock, the scorpion moved and Tanushree leapt on her feet and ran away. One of the production assistants then came and put the scorpion in a glass tumbler. The creature was released only before the shot was to be taken. And despite her fears Tanushree did shoot with the scorpion. After all, life mein risk to lena padta hai.

Vidya Balan denies rift with Aishwarya Rai

Vidya Balan has completely dismissed rumours of a rift with the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai during the making of Mani Ratnam 's Guru . “By now I'm used to all kinds of rumours. But this one truly takes the cake. I can't say we got along like a house on fire simply because we didn't have many scenes together. But whenever we worked together, Aishwarya was a dream co-star. She is an absolute delight to work with and is someone I look up to,” a report quotes Vidya as saying.

Vidya was quick to laugh off reports that Ash was responsible for her rather short role in the film. “To even suggest that she had my role cut is so ridiculous. I was aware of the extent of my role from the start. I did ‘Guru’ for the pleasure of working with Mani. There are moments in the film where Aishwarya needed to reach out to me emotionally. She did it so naturally and spontaneously that she won me over.” When asked about stories that Vidya didn't attend the premiere of ‘Guru’ in Canada because of Ash? “This is too much,” giggled Vidya. “I wonder who's spreading such nonsense and for what purpose! I was in Australia shooting for Sajid Khan's ‘Hey Baby’ on January 10. The premiere of ‘Guru’ in Canada was on January 12. There was no way I could reach there and get back to my shooting without disrupting Sajid's schedule. I wouldn't do this to anyone, least of all to Sajid Khan who's a first-time director and a dear friend.” Vidya added: “I hope this puts to rest all these silly speculations about Aishwarya's role in my life. She's way above all this petty politics. Her dignity in the face of adversity is exemplary. If I can possess even a fraction of her poise I'd consider myself lucky.”Vidya added that she has enjoyed playing a journalist and a radio disc jockey in recent films. “The journey has been exciting. The character is so much more than the job it performs,” Vidya said. “They've given me tremendous job satisfaction at the end of the day,” Vidya said of the roles. Vidya portrayed a journalist in Salaam-e-Ishq opposite John Abraham . Vidya went to a few radio stations to get the feel of what it was like to be a radio jockey before she began shooting for the superhit Lage Raho Munnabhai opposite Sanjay Dutt .
