Celina impresses Baz!

Celina Jaitly recently met acclaimed Hollywood Director Baz Luhrmann and renowned artist Vincent Fantauzzo on their trip to India.

The sexy actress met Baz & Fantauzzo at a promotional event in Mumbai.

Sources present at the event said that Baz & Vincent were heard complimenting Celina on her beautiful eyes. Vincent even expressed a strong desire to paint Celina and was spotted showing her his other works on his cell phone.

When quizzed about her encounter with them, Celina quips, “It was lovely to meet the director who has teased the taste buds of our imagination with films like ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and 'Moulin Rouge'. We shared a wonderful conversation discussing our respective work and were also joking about his fractured wrist! I hope he feels better soon so he can enjoy our hospitality.”

What can we say, Celina! You’ve won the hearts of Egyptians & now it’s the Australians. Way to go!!

Celina’s a virgin & hypocrite!

If we were to describe Celina Jaitly in one word, it would be — candid! Yeah, we like this babe for shooting from the lip, and voicing whatever she believes in. Whether its gay rights, women’s rights, or simply sex. Yes, you heard that right.

Recently, during a pretty loaded interview with ZOOM, along with her co-star Abhimanyu Singh and producer Nari Hira, she was quizzed on how sexuality in Indian cinema and in our society has undergone a change, to which she said, “I feel sex never changes. Sex is the same, like it was ten years ago, during the Kamasutra days. Even now it’s the same. What has changed is that people want to be politically correct or diplomatic while talking on this subject today.”

When quizzed on the taboo virginity issue, she boldly shot back, “Human beings are hypocritical! We all are. Myself included. I am going to call myself a virgin till I get married. As simple as that. Yes, I am hypocritical and every actress who comes here will say the same. So you got to take my word for it.”

No wonder her hero Abhimanyu was too stunned to comment after that. Well, even if we don’t believe any of this, how does it matter? Sex will still be sex, right. And it’ll never be ‘An accident on Hill Road’, right guys? Wink, wink!

Actress Celina Jaitley kicked off with a bold role of a pole dancer in her debut film Janasheen and now once again this glam doll will be seen in quite a bold role. She plays a stripper in night club in Tigmanshu Dhulia's forthcoming film Showman.

Though it's not a surprise for her fans, Celina has always been playing glamorous roles. Speaking about her role she says, "I am playing half English and half Indian girl. She is daughter of an English man who's married to an Indian woman. This girl unfortunately comes from a very poor family background in London. She is grown up to be a stripper in night club and a con artist. She just forces people to make money
out of them. Basically her main aim is to own a night club so she is pretending to be a stripper."

It can be recalled that Celina played a pole dancer in her debut film. "Yeah but there I was a cop who pretends to be a pole dancer. I was an undercover cop. Everyone comes to know at the end of the movie that I am an undercover cop. And here I am again pretending to be a stripper but not one actually I am just trying to get all the girls to work for my club."

Apart from Celina it stars Govingda Celina and Rimi Sen in main leads. It's produced by Reel Life Productions. This film has been shot in UK.

We are not the only ones who keep cribbing about the ever-increasing traffic problems in any of our cities.

Even some of our stars have had ‘harrowing’ tales of fretting it out in traffic jams. Recently, we had our ex beauty queen Celina Jaitley tell us how she was caught in one such jam. “Can you beat it, I was in the middle of the road for almost four hours. And imagine, in that time, I would have gone to Kolkata, attended Durga Puja and got back home. I think, after that experience, I will save some cash to buy myself a chopper,” she laughed.

So producers, don’t fret if Celina asks for a raise in her remuneration, all wants to do is simply fly high!

Celina Jaitley buys heritage structure

Celina Jaitley wants to completely refurbish a 150-year-old bungalow, which she recently bought in Moira village in Goa. The bungalow is known to be an old heritage structure and she has named it 'Casa de Francis Celina'.

Celina confirmed the news and said, "I am renovating the house completely. It will be my second home." Despite the fact that she loves her new home, Celina is facing a little problem. Word has spread that she has purchased the property and locals are curious to know more about what's happening.

Incidentally, the Goa Darshanbus stops right outside Celina's bungalow in Moira thereby creating a lot of noise and a further invasion of privacy.

Fortunately, the village panchayat has intervened and decided to take care of the matter. Celina added, "I am sure the matter will settle down. I love Goa and I'll try to be there at every given opportunity."

Celina Jaitley to work with Sean Connery!

In her next English movie ‘The Quest of Sheherzade’ Bollywood actress Celina Jaitley is likely to work with Scottish superstar Sir Sean Connery.

Celina’s first English film ‘Love Has No Language’ is complete and her second international project ‘The Quest of Sheherzade’ is set to roll in January next year. Celina signed the film in September last year.

Based on the famous epic ‘One Thousand And One Nights’ or ‘Arabian Nights’, the movie will have Celina working with two Hollywood stars. Rumour has it that Sean Connery has been signed to play one of the roles.

While Connery’s presence in the film still has to be officially confirmed, Celina says she is super-excited about the possibility of working with the legendary star.

“I’m kicked about working with Sean in the film. He is the ultimate Bond and happens to be my favourite James Bond as well,” Celina is quoted as saying by TOI.

In the meanwhile, the release of ‘Love Has No Language’ has been postponed from December this year to May 2009.

Celina says the film’s makers want to premiere the movie at next year’s Cannes Film Festival and therefore decided to postpone the release. If things go as planned, Celina will be going to Cannes next year.

Aishwarya Rai is in trouble again

Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai is in trouble again.

One of the Rai's bodyguards allegedly desecrated a temple in the Hindu holy town of Pushkar by entering drunk and roughing up worshippers who tried to approach the actress.

"We are contemplating action against the star as she is responsible for her guards," Ladoo Ram, the head of the local priests association, told the Hindustan Times newspaper.

Ram said the priests would hold a meeting to discuss filing charges with the police.

Alcohol and meat are banned from Pushkar, a Hindu pilgrimage centre surrounding a small lake in the desert of Rajasthan and home to the only temple to the Hindu god Brahma.

Rai denied her guard was drunk, the paper reported.

The Times of India quoted police as saying that Rai's guards were only trying to keep a crush of fans and reporters away from her.

The priests of Pushkar are notoriously prickly, recently they filed charges against actress Katrina Kaif who raised their ire when she entered a temple in a dress that they said violated modesty norms because it revealed her legs below the knees.

Last year an Israeli couple were arrested and then fined for kissing in public after getting married in the holy town.

This is the second time in recent months that Rai, a former Miss World, has been in trouble with the law.

She was questioned after customs officials intercepted a package addressed to her with 24,000 euros ($39,950) hidden inside electronic goods. Under Indian laws, sending more than 5000 rupees ($142) in cash through the mail is an offence.

Rai has denied any knowledge of the package.

Rai, who was accompanied by her mother, also visited the nearby shrine of a Muslim Sufi saint.

"Whatever city I visit, I go to temples or religious places for prayers," the Press Trust of India news agency quoted Rai as saying.

Hot' Celina Jaitely abuses airport manager !

Here's is some not so good news from bikini babe Celina Jaitley.

A non cognisable offence has been filed against the hot Bollywood actress and her brother after they allegedly had a tiff with airport officials, police sources said.

Celina has reportedly insulted the airport manager Jayshree Shivalingam in front of the airport staff.

The entire incident took place around 5:30 PM on monday when Celina Jaitley, who was on her way to catch a flight to J&K with her brother Vikrant, parked her car in the VIP parking area reserved for the cars of Political officials and Government delegates.

On being requested by the airport authorities to vacate the spot, she blatantly declined and started hurling abuses.

She was asked to speak to Shivalingam, who told Jaitley that she was not authorised to park her car in the VIP area.

But the actress and her brother refused to budge and instead abused the manager in the presence of other staff and passengers.

“The Government employees are useless and what difference did it make if she parked her car for a while, especially since there were no VIP cars present,” she was quoted as saying.

But Police is no mood to take the entire pisode lightly and has already filed a case against her at Santacruz airport police station.

The actress was unavailable for comment.
