There are some celebs whose names provoke instant reactions. One such is Mallika Sherawat—loved and hated for her guts. She’s nonchalant about shedding clothes to be in the news—though now, after more than 15 films, people have accepted that she’s got strong screen presence and talent as well.
She’s earning big bucks, too. With a fee of Rs 1.5 crore for her 10-minute role in Aaap Ka Suroor and Rs 3.5 crore for a CD endorsement deal, she’s paving the way for actresses to demand their much-due fat pay cheques. After disappearing from the scene for a bit, she’s now back with this week’s Ugly aur Pagli and the soon-to-be-released Maan Gaye Mughall-E-Azam.
